The EMPOWER Hub was developed as part of a project looking at Personal Finance Decision Making and UK Ethnic Minority Led Small Businesses
This 2-year project aims to understand and improve the financial resilience of ethnic minority-led small businesses in the West Midlands. It will develop practical interventions to support these businesses and the communities that rely on them.
The project is led by Aston University’s Centre for Personal Financial Wellbeing (CPFW), Centre for Research in Ethnic Minority Entrepreneurship (CREME) and Coventry University’s Centre for Business in Society (CBiS) in partnership with Citizens UK, funded by the Aviva Foundation.
